The Brushwood Center at Ryerson Woods presents Head in the Trees, an exhibition of large-scale pen & ink drawings and mixed-media paintings. The work is inspired by Brushwood's oak tree restoration project, the landscape of Shawnee National Forest in southern Illinois, and a wide range of stories relating to woodland spaces and environmental concerns.

A KB Studio student show us also on display, including the work of twelve artists that have created work relating to forest life. These shows run September 16th - October 28th, 2018.
