September 2018 - The Brushwood Center at Ryerson Woods will present "Head in the Trees", an exhibition of Kaye Buchman's drawings and paintings opening Sunday, September 16th at 1:00 pm. The work in this show has been inspired by Brushwood's oak tree restoration project, the landscape of Shawnee National Forest in southern Illinois, and a wide range of stories relating to woodland spaces and environmental concerns. A KB Studio student show will also be on display including the work of twelve artists that have created work relating to trees and forests. These shows run September 16th - October 28th, 2018.
January 2018 - KB Studio presents Eco Connections, a group exhibition showcasing the dynamic forms and forces found in our life-sustaining ecosystems. The show, designed and curated by Kaye Buchman, features drawings, paintings, and mixed-media works by KB Studio artists and will be on display January 5th - 26th.
February 2017 - KB Studio, a fine arts education, exhibition, and events center, opened in Chicago's East Rogers Park neighborhood. The space, conceived and designed by artist & educator Kaye Buchman, has been established to promote the advancement of imaginative thought and action through creative engagement. Six-week courses, weekend workshops, community projects, and group and solo exhibitions are scheduled throughout the year.
April 1 - May 6, 2017 - The Morris Graves Museum of Art, Eureka, California will present Around the Whirled, a solo exhibition of Kaye Buchman's large scale pen & ink drawings, mixed-media paintings, and thematic books.

The Dahl Arts Center in Rapid City, South Dakota will present Big Wild, a solo exhibition of Kaye Buchman's multi-media work in the Inez and Milton Shaver Gallery. This show will feature a variety of works inspired by our embattled yet resilient natural environment and ecosystems. The opening, on Friday, November 18th at 5:00pm, will include an artist talk at 6:00pm. "Image Transfermation," a mixed media workshop, is scheduled for Saturday, November 19th at 10:00am.
Sept - Oct 2016 - "Under the Willow Trees," an 80' painted mural, was completed at the north end of the Loyola Redline Station at the Albion Avenue viaduct. Inspired by the willow trees and dunes restoration project adjacent to the Loyola Beach pier, this large scale work and was commissioned by the City of Chicago's Roger Park Mural Project and financed by the 49th Ward's Participatory Budgeting program.
June 24-August 6, 2016 - The Oliver Art Center in Frankfort, Michigan presents In the Middle, a solo exhibition of Kaye Buchman's large-scale pen & ink drawings, digital prints, mixed-media paintings, thematic books, figurative models, and animated short movies. This show links two separate bodies of work developed over the past seven years that explore the expressive energies of the physical world and the narrative potency of fundamental life experience.

The Harold Washington Library Center presents Kaye Buchman: Other Pages, Other Books, an exhibition of artist's books and large scale pen and ink drawings. Located on the 8th floor of the 400 South State Street facility, this show includes 30 books dedicated to conceptual investigation and material experimentation. An artist talk is scheduled on April 30th from 2:00-3:00pm in the 7th floor Chicago Authors Room followed by a bookmaking workshop on May 21st from 2:00-4:00pm.
The Elk River Area Arts Alliance presents the "Arts in Harmony International Juried Traveling Exhibition" at the Sherburne County Government Center in Elk River, Minnesota. This exhibition will travel to Blaine City Hall and the American Swedish Institute in Minneapolis, February 1 - April 27, 2016. Big Swell, a mixed media painting on polyester film, has received the Mixed Media First Place Award.
Sept-Nov 2015 - Brand Library Art Galleries in Glendale, California presented the "43rd Annual Works on Paper National Juried Exhibition" September 26-November 13, 2015. Big Thicket, a large-scale pen & ink drawing, received the Brand Associates Award.
Oct 2015 - Koehnline Museum of Art at Oakton Community College presented "Feminism Across the Generations" October 1-23, 2015. Midwest Suffragette, a mixed-media work on paper, was included in this exhibition.
Sept-Oct, 2015 - University Galleries of Illinois State University presented artwork by College of Fine Art alumni at the Uptown Normal Art Gallery September 19-October 19, 2015.
April-July 2015 - In Between, a 42 image print suite, was included in "Folktales & Legends: An Exhibition Without Borders" at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. This international juried exhibition showcased the many ways that epic stories are conveyed through visual media.
June-July, 2015 - Big Thicket, a large-scale pen & ink drawing, was included in "The Base Line: An Exhibition on Drawing," at ARC Gallery in Chicago and received an Honorable Mention award from juror Aron Packer from Packer Schopf Gallery in Chicago.
May-July 2015 - Big Swell, a mixed-media painting, was included in "From Nature," a national juried exhibition at The Art Center in Highland Park, Illinois.
March-April 2015 - 10 large-scale pen & ink drawings were displayed in "Big Ink," a one-person exhibition at the McLean County Arts Center in Bloomington, Illinois.
